The School District of Philadelphia's Office of Strategic Partnerships (OSP) and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) invites principals, teacher leaders, and/or staff currently acting in the capacity of managing volunteers to attend "Volunteer Management: Best Practices for Engaging Volunteers within a School" on May 13th from 3:00-6:00pm at Education Center.
This workshop, facilitated by The LaSalle Non Profit Center, will focus on best practices for better engaging and managing the volunteers that are currently serving in schools. Additionally, representatives from the School District and United Way will be on hand to discuss the latest policy developments in the district around volunteer engagement and a brand new tool schools can use for volunteer recruitment.
